Church House is located directly between All Saints Church and Main Street. The house was built just before All Saints, by its builder, who lived in it whilst working on the Church.

It's unclear if the land was acquired from Magdalen College or simply given in lieu of payments. It was never an ecclesiastical dwelling -The Rectory being a grand house, set in its own grounds, off Horncastle Road.
